Media that humans have been interacting with for thousands of years, religious texts, the same texts that humans are still fighting over to this day. Yet my focus in my papers is on more recent media, films, social media, and now AI.

So humans started as Spectators with Dissociative Identity Disorder sitting in a cinema, then evolved to Users with Dissociative Identity Disorder scrolling on social media. Now in the third edition of this thesis paper, I am looking at the next step, that of future Humanoid AI with Dissociative Identity Disorder.
The AI technology we have seen has ultimately just been an advancement of media, where this technology is able to create at a rapid rate.

In looking at this next evolutionary step in media, that seen in rising AI technology programs, I have been copying my thesis into Chat GPT to see what it would give me. Not for any definitive answer, but to see the interesting answers that it may give, which I believe will have historical meaning on where this technology is right now, in April 2023. I continue to make the argument that there is a dissociation of reality occurring when humans interact with media, whether it be novels, films, social media or that seen in the various media being produced by AI now and what media that will come from these new technologies in the near future.
