A wild, visionary idea, an eccentric notion or act; a quixotism.

Quixotism (adj. quixotic) is impracticality in pursuit of ideals, especially those ideals manifested by rash, lofty and romantic ideas or extravagantly chivalrous action. It also serves to describe an idealism without regard to practicality.

A quixotic decision is often made on the whim without a second thought of possible consequences. Example: "The stretch limo was a bit quixotic for a first date, don't you think?" she asked him. Example: Sharon booked a quixotic vacation to Hawaii despite her being in debt.

That was what I did this week when I decided in that moment to say a possible last goodbye to someone who has positively impacted my life. Who has spread good energy to me. One of a few people in my life that could get me to do such a thing.

I have sacrificed so much to stay focused on my craft. I know I talk about persistent one tirelessly. About regiment. But this universe will look at your plans and laugh.

We have to have the mental fortitude to make quick, life changing decisions in a blink of an eye. Boom. Out of nowhere. Didn’t see it coming. Boom. It’s done. It’s over.

What matters in these moments. Adrenaline kicks in. Coursing through the brain. Attention narrows. It’s life or death on the line. One mistake. One wrong move. Boom. It’s over. No redo. You had your chance. You lost your turn. You had all the time in the world and what did you do with it? How did you spend it? How much time was spent in pure bliss, knowing that nothing lasts forever, it lasts. Right now. Boom. It’s gone. What did you do with your right now? Thinking about illusions in your mind?

What do you say to someone you may never see again? That’s an honest question I want to leave you with because it’s a question that is currently haunting my brain.

With poetry really being the foundation of my creativity, it felt only right for that to be the way I entered Web 3, how I entered the metaverse, how I did my genesis NFT collection on Tezos. Web 3, like the two Webs before it, is another evolutionary step for humanity. I like to think of it as a Digital Pangea. It’s bringing the world together like never before. There is a sense of presence felt in these virtual plots of land that can’t be felt on a Web 2 timeline, or a video call like zoom or facetime.
